LEGS. THE BIO
Formed in Denver, Colorado in 2018, LEGS. began as a late-night idea between coworkers John Mark and Marcus Macabre. What started in the back rooms of a brewery quickly turned into something bigger when they recruited guitarist Nick Workman and wrote a set of original songs for what was supposed to be a one-off farewell show after the brewery closed. The show was electric — the kind of lightning-in-a-bottle moment that makes you realize this isn’t the end of something, it’s the beginning.
Renaming themselves LEGS. the band leaned into a bold identity built on theatricality, groove, and unapologetic individuality. They independently recorded and released early demos, including the acoustic favorite My Eyes Are Up Here, before dropping their debut full-length album In the Flesh at midnight on New Year’s 2021 — a statement release marking both arrival and intention.
From there, LEGS. did what true independent bands do: they hit the road. Without major label backing, the band toured nationally, carving out audiences city by city across the country. Their live shows became their calling card — sweaty, cathartic, dance-fueled rock performances where vulnerability and flamboyance coexist.
The lineup solidified into a powerhouse five-piece:
Marcus Macabre’s soulful, cathartic vocals leading the charge
Nick Workman’s driving, melodic lead guitar
John Mark’s textured, abstract rhythm guitar
Trashington Dogarelli’s passionate, kinetic drumming
Skyler Bleu locking in the groove with style and swagger
Musically, LEGS. pulls from everywhere — hard rock grit, theatrical glam, groove-heavy rhythms, poetic lyricism, and a touch of the macabre. The result is a sound that feels both classic and subversive, polished yet raw. It’s rock music you can dance to. It’s vulnerability you can shout along with.
Then life hit hard. During a pivotal stretch in the band’s momentum, Marcus Macabre was diagnosed with cancer. Touring halted. Plans paused. The future shifted. What could have been an ending instead became a crucible. After a hard-fought battle, Marcus beat cancer — and LEGS. emerged stronger, sharper, and more united than ever. Now, the band stands at the beginning of its most powerful era yet. With renewed perspective and fire, LEGS. is writing and recording new music while returning to national touring with a deeper sense of purpose.
The stage isn’t just a platform anymore — it’s a celebration of survival, community, and self-expression. At its core, LEGS. is about transformation — turning pain into performance, fear into freedom, and outsiders into family. Their passion for the fabulous and the macabre is matched only by their mission to inspire people to wake up better than they were yesterday. This isn’t just a comeback. It’s an evolution.
Spread LEGS. Not Hate.
